Age Does Not Determine Your Fitness Level.

I wroteFitness After 40: Your STRONG Body at 40, 50, 60 and Beyond!” with one goal in mind:  to empower you in the best half of your life to take control of your body and master how it ages.  No matter what your age or skill level, you were designed to move.

It is never too late to start. Here’s how to master your age!

Don’t Be Like Everyone Else.

With age, men and women tend to join the norm and develop “couch potato syndrome,” almost as if it is a right of passage.

Don’t let this be you.

Yes, we may age but deep down we remain youthful on the inside. It is possible to remain youthful on the outside too, with active living.

In fact, people who push themselves to remain physically fit, especially with competitive sports, report that they are more mentally and physically healthy than their sedentary counterparts.

A recent survey of active baby boomers found that:

  • 40% were living healthier lives and were more physically fit than when they were in their 20s.
  • 67 % felt 11 years younger than their chronological age.
  • 57% reported being more physically active than their parents were at their age.

AND I LOVE THIS ONE…

  • 33 % boasted that they could beat their children in at least one sport!

Don’t wait to be overcome with age. You can proactively take steps to age with perfection.  Age cannot defeat you.

You are healthy, vital, active, and joyful.
